Blog #9:  Summary of 12 Universal Laws

LEGACY OF THE DIVINE TAROT

4 OF SWORDS: It is important to take time for yourself, especially if you have been under some stress.  Take a break by going for a walk, doing something that you enjoy, or spending more time with family and friends.

3 OF SWORDS: You may experience a loss, disappointment, or challenge during this time. It is important to remember that everything goes in cycles (Universal Law 11--the Law of Rhythm), and that there is a lesson to learn in every difficult experience. Things will eventually improve, so change any negative thoughts into positive ones so that you will start attracting positive energy (Universal Law 7--the Law of Attraction).

PAGE OF WANDS:  As things move forward over the next two weeks, remember to be more child-like by living in the present, not taking things so seriously, and just allowing to happen whatever is meant to be.

BI-WEEKLY THEME:  Remember to think of yourself and take time to refresh and restore energy.  Accept any challenges or difficulties as they come, not resisting but going with the flow. Do not take things too seriously, which will help alleviate any stress.

BLOG #9:  SUMMARY OF 12 UNIVERSAL LAWS

Law 1:  The Law of Oneness

Ø  We are all one and we are all connected. Our every thought, word, and action affects others. We continually have an impact on others.

Ø  We are all energy, and we originated from Source.  Therefore, we cannot ever disconnect from Source, nor do we have to meditate to experience the connectedness; it just is.

Law 2:  The Law of Energy or Vibration

Ø  Everything is energy, and it cannot be created or destroyed.

Ø  All things—all energy—moves and vibrates in a circular motion.  Every single thing, including thoughts, has its own unique vibration operating at a certain frequency.

Ø  We cannot see energy because it is vibrating so fast it is invisible to our five senses.

Ø  Positive thoughts and optimism have a higher vibration/faster frequency than negative thoughts and pessimism.  Others are affected by our thoughts.

Ø  Our thoughts have the power to attract other thoughts vibrating at the same frequency, so it is important for us to change any negative thoughts into positive ones. This will allow us to attract only positive thoughts, feelings, things, and people into our lives.

Law 3:  The Law of Action

Ø  We must do something to manifest what we want in our physical world, and it is important that our actions reflect our positive thoughts, feelings, and words.

Ø  Action involves setting goals or having a vision of what we want. We must really want to achieve our goals, so we will have the strong emotion necessary to achieve them. We must have the discipline and self-control to stick with an action plan.

Ø  We must know what we want and be committed to going after it and getting it.

Law 4:  The Law of Correspondence

Ø  The physical world on the material plane is a reflection of the spiritual world on the etheric plane. “As above, so below. As below, so above.”

Ø  Correspondence is a mathematical term stating that there are similarities between two elements of a set, or between two different sets. (For example, the structure of the solar system—a macrocosm-- is similar to the structure of an atom—a microcosm.)

Ø  Understanding this law is key to manifesting the reality we want, because our thoughts (our inner world) is a reflection of what we experience/manifest (our outer world).

Ø  The universe (our macrocosm) is unlimited, as is our potential (our microcosm).

Ø  What we think about dominates our perception of our world. If we change our inner thoughts for the better, we will see positive changes in our outer world.

Ø  It is important to monitor our thoughts so we can change negative ones into positive.

Law 5:  The Law of Cause and Effect

Ø  Nothing happens by chance or is coincidental.  Every action we take (cause) has a related reaction (effect).

Ø  This law requires us to take responsibility for everything that happens to us, because we created it.  (“We reap what we sow.”)

Ø  It is important to recognize our thoughts, feelings, words, and actions, because what we give out comes back to us.

Law 6:  The Law of Compensation

Ø  Everything gained has a loss involved, because there is a balance and equilibrium in the universe that must be maintained.  The cycles of nature are a prime example of this.

Ø  The blessings we receive come to us as a result of the deeds that we do in service to others. If we want abundance in our lives, we must remember the balance of giving and receiving.

Ø  This law makes us aware of the need to release any feelings of there not being enough abundance to go around.  (“The Universe is abundant, and there is enough for all.”)

Law 7:  The Law of Attraction

Ø  Like attracts like, so the energy/vibration we put out to the world brings back to us what is reflected in our energy.

Ø  We alone are responsible for our lives and what we create/experience.

Ø  This law operates through our thoughts, feelings, words, and actions, which all have their own individual frequencies.  It is the combination of these that causes us to manifest our reality.

Ø  This law works with both conscious and unconscious thoughts, which shows the importance of monitoring our thoughts.

Ø  This law works only when we think we are worthy of what we want to attract, when we have no fears (consciously or unconsciously) about what we want, and if we attach a true feeling/emotion to what we want.

Ø  El Morya:  “This is the law that serves to frustrate many souls on the spiritual path, for it mirrors to them that which is hidden within.”

Law 8:  The Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy

Ø  Transmutation means to change from one form into another, which is constantly happening with energy.

Ø  Energy is in a constant state of motion—it never stops vibrating.

Ø  Change is all there is; change is normal.

Ø  We must not resist the changes coming into our lives because if we do, we are going against this law, and this will be reflected in another more drastic way.

Ø  We change the formless energy of thoughts into whatever we are focusing our attention on at the moment.  We form and shape energy with our minds through our thoughts.

Law 9:  The Law of Relativity

Ø  An action, event, or object is neutral until we perceive it as good or bad.

Ø  Our interpretation of it becomes a judgment in which we compare it to something else from our past. Whether we view it as positive or negative depends on what we are comparing it to.

Ø  This law relates to us looking at comparisons. If we use it to find out what lessons we are learning, we are letting it guide us in our spiritual growth. It is all about how we interpret the comparisons.

Law 10:  The Law of Polarity

Ø  Everything is on a continuum and has an opposite, but there are no absolutes.  Things are the same, only different in terms of degrees; opposites are the two extremes of the same thing.

Ø  Because we have free will, we can choose which part of the polarity continuum we wish to experience.

Ø  “Having acceptance of whatever you are experiencing acts as the polar opposite of resistance and will attract more of your desires…. Any resistance you have by focusing on the experience and interpreting it as good or bad will attract more of what you are resisting.

Ø  This law helps us realize that all things can be changed.

Ø  Stay balanced, because extreme reactions bring to us emotions and behaviors that are extreme.

Ø  Changes in polarity lead to changes in vibration, which in turn lead to changes in what we attract.

Law 11:  The Law of Rhythm

Ø  There is an ebb and flow to all things in the universe.  Everything is in motion, and there is a pattern in the movements.  It is a cycle that repeats over and over, such as the seasons. It is like a pendulum moving back and forth.

Ø  To understand this law is to understand life and be able to go with the flow, knowing that the pendulum will swing back eventually.  If you allow the swinging to happen and don’t fight it, you will be letting the Law work for you rather than against you.

Ø  It is important to trust that things will swing the other way instead of focusing on the negative when you are on the downswing.  Stop resisting when a challenge comes into your life.

Ø  We cannot change the natural flow of rhythm, but we can choose how we ride out the current of difficulty.

Ø  Take time to see what lesson needs to be learned as a result of a difficult situation to more easily move through it.

Law 12:  The Law of Gender

Ø  All things have masculine and feminine aspects.

Ø  Gender relates to a division of labor that is required for everything that is created.

Ø  The masculine energy is the spark that gets things going.

Ø  The feminine energy does the creative work—bringing things to fruition.

Ø  It is important for all of us to use both our masculine and feminine energies, because this is what brings about balance.

Ø  Our thoughts can be seen as spiritual seeds that need to be nurtured and give time to grow so they can manifest in the physical plane.

Ø  This law is the expression of yin and yang.

Bi-Weekly Tarot Reading:  1-12-14 through 1-25-14

LEGACY OF THE DIVINE TAROT

5 OF CUPS:  Although you may experience a disappointment or you think things are not going your way, remember that it is best to get out of a negative space and focus on the positive.  Be grateful for all that you have.  This will allow you to move through the negative more easily.  (See Blog #8 on the Law of Rhythm for more information on this.)

5 OF SWORDS:  You have had challenges in the past, but the good thing is that you survived them by persevering and moving forward.  Set your intention that you can learn from each difficulty and end up being stronger and wiser.

THE WORLD:  Look for good things to happen during this two-week period.  You have accomplished much, and now is the time to allow things to unfold and experience all the success that you deserve.

BLOG #8:  UNIVERSAL LAWS 11 & 12

Universal Law 11:  The Law of Rhythm

The Law of Rhythm says that there is an ebb and flow to all things in the universe.  Everything is in motion, and there is a pattern in the movements.  It is a cycle that repeats over and over, such as the seasons.  Think of a pendulum moving back and forth—this is the Law of Rhythm in action.

To understand the Law is to understand life and be able to go with the flow, knowing that the pendulum will swing back eventually.  If you allow the swinging to happen and don’t fight it, then you will be letting the Law work for you rather than against you.  If you resist rather than just going with it, you may encounter problems because you are fighting against a natural Law.  If there is a downturn in your life, it is better to accept this, knowing that things will eventually change—they have to.

It is important to trust that things will swing the other way instead of focusing on the negative when you are on the downswing.  Attention on negativity causes this negative energy to hang around longer, so being conscious of this Law helps you get back into a positive state because you know that things will improve.  How long this takes is up to you, because attention is intention.

The best rule of thumb is to stop resisting when a challenge comes into your life.  Get in the flow, allow it to happen, and then let it go.  It will move much faster through your life if you do this.  Hanging on to feelings of sadness or feeling sorry for yourself will only prolong the good coming to you.

Be aware of your thoughts during difficult times so you are able to recognize when you are in a negative space.  Immediately choose to change your thoughts to positive so the pendulum can more quickly swing to where you are in a better place.  It sounds simple and can be, if you are conscious of your thoughts.

We cannot change the natural flow of rhythm, but we can choose how we ride out the current of difficulty.  We can focus on the positive that will be happening or we can resist the current by continuing to think how bad things are.

If we take time to figure out what lesson we need to learn as a result of a difficult situation, we will see the experience differently—more positively—so we can more easily move through it.  See the whole thing as a chance to learn something rather than an obstacle to get over.  We can stay positive to lessen or eliminate the effects of the negative.

The Law of Rhythm expands the Laws of Vibration and Polarity.  We have already learned that everything vibrates and moves, and has two poles or opposites.  Now we add to that the knowledge that everything vibrates at or responds to a certain rhythm.  As Milanovich and McCune (1996) state:

“This rhythm establishes seasons, cycles, stages of development, and patterns—all of these reflect the regularity of God’s universe.  It may also be viewed over long periods of time as the continual creation of the universe, the rise and fall of nations, and our own birth, death, and rebirth.” (p. 234).

If we are able to control our emotions, then they do not swing too far to the opposite sides.  Once we do this, we will see our lives getting better and better.  For every high there is a low.  We cannot control this Law, but we can learn to master it through control of our emotions.

Universal Law 12:  The Law of Gender

The Law of Gender has two main parts:  (1) All things have masculine and feminine aspects; and (2) our thoughts can be seen as spiritual seeds that need to be nurtured and given time to grow so they can manifest in the physical plane.

Regarding the first part, gender relates to a division of labor that is required for everything that is created.  Both masculine and feminine energies are necessary.  The masculine energy is the spark that gets things going; it is action, movement, initiation of the creative process.  The feminine energy actually does the creative work—bringing things to fruition.  It is important for both males and females to use masculine and feminine energies, because that is what brings about balance.  When we are fully developed spiritually, we are easily able to use both energies.

El Morya succinctly describes this Law:

“The Law of Gender is the expression of yin and yang, otherwise termed feminine and masculine.  The law states that these two principles reside within all things and it is through these principles that humanity is able to create.” (Milanovich & Mccune, p. 243).

The second part of the Law is helpful when we are ready to use the Law of Attraction to manifest what we desire.

Angelheart gives six points that are important for us to know and practice if we want our “thought seeds” to be nurtured and grow.  They are:

“1.  Know that all your thoughts are spiritual seeds.

                2.  All seeds grow and manifest in exact correct timing.

                3.  Dreams always come true as long as you have faith, hope, and trust.

4.  All seeds need attention, love and nurturing to manifest; if you switch focus off of them, they stop growing.

5.  Patience in your dreams keeps the growth happening; checking on them and digging them up will stunt their growth or kill them.

6.  Don’t just believe they will manifest.  KNOW they will manifest as well as you know the water will flow from your faucet.” (p. 79)

This concludes our discussion of 12 Universal Laws.  There are more than 12, but these are the main ones that form the basis for others, which can be considered offshoots of the main 12.

The next blog, to be posted in two weeks, will give a summary of the 12 so that you can have an easy reference guide.  Use them to make your life easier, happier, and more productive.
