Universal Law 3:  The Law of Action
The Law of Action states that we must do something to manifest what we want in our physical world.  So, it is important that our actions reflect our thoughts, feelings, and words.  Although this Law appears easy on the surface, it is possibly one of the least understood.

Action requires a certain amount of discipline, especially if a change in behavior is called for.  For example, many of us like staying in our comfort zone where we do things the way we have always done them.  We avoid change at all costs, especially if we are unsure of what needs to be done or there is risk involved.
How do we get the Law of Action to work for us?
The first step is to figure out what we want.  How can we set goals, develop action plans, and do what is necessary to achieve our goals if we do not even know where to start?

If we do not really want to achieve the goals we set, then we will not have the strong emotion that is necessary to reach them.  We must also have the discipline and self-control to stick with an action plan to achieve our goals.
So, what should we do to put the Law of Action into effect for us?
1.       Figure out what you truly want or where you want to be.
2.       Brainstorm different ways you can get what you want, or various paths you can take to get there.
3.       Decide what your action steps will be.

A great resource that will help you understand how this Law, which involves working with energy, can be applied in our daily lives to manifest what we want is a book titled  E-Squared by Pam Grout.  It is a best-seller that you can get on Amazon, and I highly recommend it.
We all have the ability to get the Law of Action to work for us to get what we want. However, we must know what we want and be committed to actually going after it and getting it, even if there is risk involved.

Universal Law 4: The Law of Correspondence
According to the Law of Correspondence, the physical world on the material plane is a reflection of the spiritual world on the etheric plane.  Another way of saying this is, “As above, so below. As below, so above.”

Correspondence is a mathematical term stating that there are similarities between two elements of a set, or between two different sets.  For example, the structure of our solar system with a central sun circled by revolving planets is similar to the structure of an atom, which has a central nucleus with electrons revolving around it.  The macrocosm (solar system) is a reflection of the microcosm (an atom) and vice versa.

In one sense, this Law is also a reflection of the Law of Oneness discussed previously because all is energy that comes from one Source.  It is just manifested differently according to the size of different but similar systems.

Why is it important for us to know this Law?
Understanding the Law is key to manifesting the reality that we want, because our thoughts (our inner world) is a reflection of what we experience/manifest (our outer world).

Another way to look at this is to recognize that the universe (our macrocosm) is unlimited, as is our potential (our microcosm).  However, we are taught at an early age that certain things are possible or impossible in our lives.  This narrow thinking that is instilled in us blocks us from realizing that anything is truly possible and our potential is unlimited.

What we think about—the thoughts of our inner world—dominates our perception of the world.  So if we think we have no power or control over what happens to us, we will find (create) examples of this every day.  For example, if we have a low opinion of people in general, then we will find ourselves dealing with more difficult people than nice ones.  However, if we believe that people are good and decent, then we will encounter people with those qualities.

To make this Law work for us, we just need to change our inner thoughts for the better, and we will see positive changes in our outer world.  It is also important to be aware of our beliefs so we can change our thoughts/perceptions about those beliefs.
We are often unaware of our thoughts so we allow our mind to go wherever it wants.  Negative thoughts can creep in without us even consciously knowing they are there.  So try monitoring your thoughts for just one day.  Be aware of what you are thinking or saying to yourself.  If you catch yourself thinking something negative (“This will never turn out the way I want”) then immediately change it to something positive (“I expect the best in this situation”).

Next time we will focus on Law #5—the Law of Cause and Effect, and Law #6—the Law of Correspondence.
